Irina ANDRYAKOVA was born in Kazan.
She completed the Auhadeev Special Musical College in Kazan and then graduated from the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory with honors as a choir conductor. Now she works as the chorus master at Zazerkalye Theatre Children's Studio and also at the academic choir "Joy of Singing". Besides her activity as a conductor, she gives performances as a soprano singer. Irina is a regular participant in many musical festivals, among them "From Avantgarde Until Now", "Sound Ways" and "Saint Petersburg Musical Spring". From 2003 she has participated as a soprano in the competition of young composers known as the "Pythian Games". Since November 2006 she has been a featured solo vocalist with The Russian Horn Capella. Since the autumn of 2008, she has expanded her role with the Horn Capella, acting as assistant conductor.

Gregory SPIRIDONOV was born on 8 September 1986 at Saint Petersburg.
From 1991 to 1997 he studied the piano at the music school and studio
named for D.S. Bortnyansky, and then from 1997 to 2001 at the Tutti
School for musically gifted children in the trombone class. After that
he has continued training on trombone at the Rimsky-Korsakov Music
College. Since 2006 he is a student at the A. I. Herzen Russian State
Pedagogical University in the music faculty.

Sergey VOLOSHYUK was born on 15 January 1966 at Norilsk in the Krasnoyarsk Region, to family of musicians.
In 1985 he completed musical school, and in 1992 he graduated from the
Institute of Arts in Krasnoyarsk. Since 1988 he was a member of the
Krasnoyarsk Symphonic Orchestra. In 2003 he was named an Honored Artist
of Russia. Since 2005 he has lived in Saint Petersburg and been a
member of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra.

Alexander ZELENEEV was born 10 April 1979 in the town Slobodskoy, in the Kirov area.
In 2004 he completed the Kirov School of Arts and in the same year
arrived at the Saint Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts in
the music faculty. He has worked with various symphonic and brass
orchestras, and also has played with various rock groups in Saint
Petersburg.

Maxim LEBEDEV was born on 15 January 1986 at Saint Petersburg.
From 1997 to 2001 he studied French horn at the P. A. Serebryakov
Children's School of Arts under Professor G. R. Avik. He has continued
study of the French horn at Saint Petersburg's M.P. Mussorgsky Musical
College in the class of Professor A. V. Tchepkov, graduating in 2005.
Since February 2004 he has performed in the brass orchestra of the N.G.
Kuznetsov Naval Academy.

Andrey SUROVYH was born on 2 March 1949 at Saint Petersburg.
In 1974 he graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory in the
class for French horn with additional curriculum in singing and
symphonic conducting. As a hornist, he has worked with the symphonic
and theatrical orchestras of Saint Petersburg. Additionally, he worked
for a long time as the editor and the producer of television programs
for the Inter-Regional Broadcasting Company "Film-Video Centre Plus".
He has been responsible for several cultural and educational programs
and was the winner of the competition for Broadcasting Projects
conducted by the Government of Saint Petersburg in honor of the city's
300th anniversary of. Since 2002, he has been a member of The Russian
Horn Capella. Together with the Capella he has toured in Russia Greece,
Germany, France and Spain. Currently, he is the author-coordinator of
the project "Imperial Music".

Nikolay PESCHANSKY was born on 28 February 1988 in Saint Petersburg.
His studies began at the Lyceum Pierre de Coubertin. In 2005 he
completed this school's Express-Extern program. Within the next year he
participated in the symphonic orchestra of the Saint Petersburg Palace,
playing French horn. In 2005 he also entered into the Russian Christian
Humanitarian Academy in their specialty program of philosophy, seminary
studies, and theology - but soon changed his interests and in 2006
arrived at the Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University in the
faculty of public relations. He has worked for the last 5 years with
The Russian Horn Capella.

Igor MORGUN was born in 1966 in the Ukraine.
From 10 years of age he played in a brass orchestra at the local House
of Culture. In 1982 he arrived to study at the Volosovsky Agricultural
and Technical College in the Saint Petersburg Region, where he played
trumpet in a local brass orchestra. In 1986 was called to military
service, where he again played in a brass orchestra. At the end of 2005
he organized a brass orchestra for children from needy families. In
2006 he began to study at the Saint Petersburg Regional College of
Culture and Art. Since November 2006 he has been a musician of The
Russian Horn Capella.

Ivan FRONTINSKY was born in 1992 in Saint Petersburg.
Now he is a pupil of the Kirov Music School, in the Saint Petersburg
Region, joining the faculty of the trumpet, under Professor A. J.
Zelichyonok. He has worked in The Russian Horn Capella from October
2006.

Georgy SMIRNOV was born in 1990 in Saint Petersburg.
In 2004 he finished his studies at the S. S. Ljahovitskaja Music
School, with distinction from the faculty of the French horn. He has
played since 2004 in the symphonic orchestra of the Saint Petersburg
City Palace, where he passed from the fourth up to the first French
horn. In September 2005 he entered the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Music
College. However in December of the same year he left on sabbatical to
pursue various personal interests. Since February 2006 he has played in
The Russian Horn Capella.

Fyodor ANTONOV was born in 1986 in Saint-Petersburg.
In 2003 he finished a series of special musical studies at the Lyceum
of the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory with a specialty in
trombone, under the tutelage of Professor B. P. Vinogradov. Then he
graduated from the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory and, having
acheived high honors, Fyodor went on to study at the Saint Petersburg
University of Culture and Arts in the faculty of Variety Musical Art
and Communications where he completed his advanced studies. Since 2005,
he has studied at the Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University in
the faculty of music. He has worked in military orchestras, and
participated in several ensemble projects, including the rock-cabaret
orchestra "Victoria Elephanta". Fyodor is the founder of his own
neo-classical musical project “Dillettanta Venete”, in which he has
contributed as a composer and an author of arrangements. He has played
in The Russian Horn Capella since 2004.

Igor ALEXEEV was born in 1961.
He began his musical studies at age 6. He received his music education
in the special children’s program named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov and
then he completed his studies at the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov Musical
College, in the faculty of the French horn. As a French horn player he
has worked several leading orchestras. In 2005 he joined The Russian
Horn Capella.

Maxim SHARANTAI has been involved with music from age 14.
After 3 years of studies in musical school he arrived at the Perm
Musical College, in the faculty of the trombone. During studying he
participated in the Second All-Russia Delphic Games (Smolensk, 2001)
and also in 13th and 14th International Festivals (2002 and 2004 in
Hagen, Germany). Now he is a student at the Saint Petersburg State
University of Culture and Arts. In autumn 2006, he joined The Russian
Horn Capella.

Alexander SUKHOMLINOV was born on 6 April 1964 at Pervomaisky, in the Archangelsk area. He first received music education at the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Children’s Special Music School (Saint-Petersburg, 1971-1980) and then he completed his studies at the M. P. Mussorgsky Music College, in the trumpet department. From 1984 to 1986 he served in Army where he played trumpet in a military orchestra. From 1987 to 1989 he performed special service as the soloist trumpet of a military orchestra. From 1992 to 2007 he worked under contract as leader of the trumpet group of the military orchestra at the N. G. Kuznetsov Naval Academy. In December 2006 he joined The Russian Horn Capella.

Dmitry MIKHAILOV was born on 23 August 1983 at Saint Petersburg.
After studies in music school he arrived at the M. P. Mussorgsky Musical College and studied trumpet there for over two years. He he then performed special service in a military orchestra. Since January 2007 he has worked with The Russian Horn Capella.
